Embraer grows profit 38% to $218.6m in Q2

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer reported a significant 38% increase in adjusted net income to $218.6m in Q2 2026, fueled by higher revenue and enhanced operating performance. The company announced its strong performance on Monday, 10 August 2026, and raised its full-year guidance. Q2 2026 revenue reached $2.2bn, a 23% increase year-on-year, marking the company's highest-ever quarterly revenue.

Adjusted free cash flow, excluding Eve, stood at $401m. The company credited stronger operating performance, sales-related pre-downpayment inflows, and an extraordinary tax credit for its impressive results. The tax credit, exemption from tariffs, and improved business outlook led to an increase in its 2026 financial guidance, aiming for an adjusted EBIT margin between 10% and 10.6% and adjusted free cash flow of $400m or higher.

Embraer's firm order backlog rose to a record $34.5bn, a 16% increase compared to Q2 2025. The company delivered 65 aircraft, a 17% increase from the same period last year, with 20 commercial aircraft and 45 executive jets. Embraer's Defence and Security division had no aircraft deliveries during the quarter. The executive aviation business generated $725m in revenue, a 32% increase from Q2 2025, while the Defence & Security business recorded $304m in revenue, up 38% year-on-year.
