The 41-year-old football star and his 32-year-old model wife shared a photo of their hands adorned with wedding bands, accompanied by the caption "C (heart) G". The couple's five children were present at the intimate event, held exactly one year after Rodriguez announced their engagement on Instagram.

The wedding followed days of media speculation in Portugal about the location and timing of the ceremony. Ronaldo and Rodriguez had been rumored to have tied the knot in Sintra, outside Lisbon, or in Funchal on the island of Madeira, Ronaldo's birthplace. However, the couple ultimately chose Cascais, an elite seaside resort approximately 30 kilometers west of Lisbon, where they own a villa.
