CodeDev Group launches dev studio Full Spectrum Interactive

CodeDev Group, also known as The Unreal Guys, has established a new dev studio named Full Spectrum Interactive. The studio is composed of industry veterans from the UK, including head of studio Matt Southern, CCO Christian McKinney, and CTO Rob Williams. Notable members of the leadership team are group chair Rik Alexander, group CEO Myke Parrott, and group BD director Nina Cliff.

Full Spectrum Interactive is dedicated to creating small to AA titles and is currently developing original prototypes. The studio will also provide full project co-development services and leverage talent from The Unreal Guys and its optimization division, The Performance Guys, for engineering, design, and technical art support.

Rob Williams, CTO of Full Spectrum Interactive, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration with CodeDev Group, stating that it provides a "great luxury" for smaller studios like his. He highlighted the ability to quickly assemble and disassemble a talented team of senior staff without any loss of jobs or institutional knowledge, allowing for a low-risk environment to build the most suitable team for each project.

Matt Southern, head of studio, commented on the interdisciplinary nature of game development, emphasizing that at Full Spectrum Interactive, they bring together "the full spectrum of that creative talent" under one roof. The studio aims to deliver games that have a significant impact, crafted with thoughtfulness, delivered reliably, and designed to perform.
