Carolina Panthers wide receiver Xavier Legette may miss the team's preseason game against the Buffalo Bills due to a stinger injury sustained during training camp. The former first-round draft pick made a notable return to practice on Wednesday, culminating in a "walk off touchdown" catch from quarterback Bryce Young. Head coach Dave Canales expressed optimism about Legette's progress, stating that he witnessed Legette playing at his normal level and maintaining speed.

Canales acknowledged that Legette might not play in the upcoming game, as he has yet to achieve the necessary conditioning level. Legette emphasized his dedication to improving his skills over the offseason, acknowledging that past missteps motivated him to work harder.
