On August 8, 2026, CHERY Saudi Arabia gathered prominent media professionals and influencers in Riyadh to discuss the company's new strategic direction in the local market. Mark, Vice President of CHERY Middle East, delivered a keynote address outlining the brand's global vision and commitment to building a "healthy and sustainable society" while integrating technology with aesthetics. The event aimed to strengthen engagement with media partners and showcase CHERY's latest advancements.

CHERY operations in Saudi Arabia will be managed through its subsidiary, with after-sales services overseen by a network of local distributors to be established in the next phase. CHERY's global presence and robust research and development capabilities are key drivers of its success, with the company recording 2.8 million vehicle sales globally in 2025, including 1.34 million units exported.

During the event, CHERY unveiled several of its latest models, including the all-new TIGGO 9 and ARRIZO 8. Key technologies highlighted included the CHERY Super Hybrid (CSH) plug-in hybrid architecture, which combines electric driving benefits with long-distance travel flexibility. The fifth-generation hybrid engine boasts a thermal efficiency of up to 44.5%, while the intelligent hybrid drive system automatically selects among various driving modes based on road and battery conditions.

Notably, CHERY also introduced the Super Intelligent Valet Parking (SIVP) system, designed to address common parking challenges. The system utilizes three millimeter-wave radars, 11 high-definition cameras, 12 ultrasonic sensors, and one LiDAR unit to provide real-time environmental perception and AI-powered navigation.
