Bank of America pledges $250 billion for US infrastructure financing

Bank of America announced on Wednesday plans to invest $250 billion into U.S. digital and infrastructure projects by July 2027. The bank's initiative aims to boost economic growth and create tens of thousands of jobs. The Critical Infrastructure Finance Initiative includes primary market lending, investments, capital markets services, and banking and advisory offerings.

This move aligns with the growing demand for AI data centers, critical minerals, and energy infrastructure upgrades. The announcement follows Morgan Stanley's plan to facilitate $1.5 trillion in financing for technology and infrastructure projects over the next decade. Bank of America's funding targets digital infrastructure, energy and power infrastructure, and core infrastructure such as transportation and natural gas.
