Al-Atawlah Heritage Festival concludes with revival of local traditions

The ninth Al-Atawlah Heritage Festival concluded in Al-Qura, Al-Baha, showcasing traditional cultural and heritage events as part of the Al-Baha Summer 2026 program. The multi-day event drew large crowds of residents and visitors, featuring live performances, demonstrations, and activities that brought traditional ways of life to the forefront.

Highlights included the "Mothers' Work" activity demonstrating household practices and the "Traditional Plowing" event illustrating ancient farming methods utilizing wooden plows pulled by animals. Participants also engaged in traditional home construction techniques and prepared signature local dishes, highlighting the region's culinary traditions and social customs.
