Adani not taking home a triumph from US order

Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group, stated that the dismissal of the US criminal case against him and his nephew Sagar Adani brought him humility rather than triumph. He emphasized the importance of the rule of law and honouring commitments during adversity during a speech to employees and partners. The case stemmed from allegations of stock manipulation, misuse of offshore tax havens, and excessive debt, for which the group denied responsibility.
