5 lelaki China disyaki terlibat sindiket pecah rumah ditahan

Five Chinese men are suspected of being involved in a series of house break-ins in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, according to the police. The incident occurred after the arrest of the five individuals in two separate raids in Sri Petaling and Pudu on Sunday.

Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Fadil Marsus stated that all suspects, aged between 38 and 58, were detained during an operation conducted by the District Crime Investigation Department (BSJD) in Cheras. He explained that the victims suffered estimated losses worth RM6,000, including stolen cash, belongings, and a luxurious suitcase.

Following intelligence and risk assessments, the police conducted two raids on August 9 in Seri Petaling and Pudu. They also seized a vehicle along with various tools used in the house break-ins. Additionally, the police recovered stolen items belonging to the suspects and found other valuable items such as wristwatches, wallets, and foreign currency totaling more than RM10,000.

Fadil mentioned that preliminary investigations also revealed that the suspects were involved in two separate house break-ins, reported to the police in the Cheras area. He added that all suspects were held until August 10 to assist the investigation under Section 457 of the Penal Code.
