2027: Nothing can stop me – Atiku likens himself to Abraham Lincoln

In a recent interview with Jaji TV Hausa, Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, declared his unwavering determination to win the 2027 election. Atiku likened his situation to that of Abraham Lincoln, the former President of the United States, who faced numerous electoral setbacks before ultimately succeeding.

Atiku, who has contested presidential and governorship elections multiple times, recalled his failed attempts to become the governor of Adamawa State. Despite the military cancelling the elections on four occasions, Atiku persevered until he emerged victorious on his fifth attempt, ultimately becoming Vice President of Nigeria.

Atiku's determination is evident in his comparison to Abraham Lincoln, who faced numerous electoral defeats before becoming President of the United States. Atiku's confidence stems from his belief that he is "fit, healthy and full of energy," suggesting that he sees no obstacle preventing him from achieving victory in the 2027 election.
