Wix launches Symphony, a new standalone multi-agent system built for business operations

Cloud-based website builder Wix Ltd. has launched Symphony, a new standalone multi-agent AI platform designed specifically for business operations. This innovative system proactively learns about a business's unique values, interests, needs, practices and goals, enabling it to automate workflows and identify opportunities for growth.

Wix's Symphony platform draws on its extensive experience working with data from hundreds of millions of small and medium-sized businesses globally. This knowledge is translated into industry-specific best practices and operational understanding, allowing the AI agents to specialize in different business processes and goals based on the industry they operate in, such as retail, insurance, online retail, and consulting.

At the heart of Symphony is Maestro, the orchestrator that directs the entire system, identifies what requires attention, and coordinates specialized agents for each activity. The company's Chief Operating Officer, Ronny Elkayam, emphasized that Symphony is built specifically for the needs of small and medium businesses, combining Wix's two decades of SMB expertise with a coordinated multi-agent system capable of learning how a business operates and taking action to help owners grow.

To further enhance the business team metaphor, Symphony includes daily stand-up meetings where the AI agents summarize completed work, highlight what needs attention, and identify new opportunities. The platform also features accuracy-checking agents that validate work before it is presented to the owner, helping to maintain trust in the AI-generated outputs.

Wix's pivot toward expanding its services beyond just helping companies build an online presence is now reaching into the operational layer, providing an institutional infrastructure for managing, automating, and growing businesses using AI agents. This expansion was strengthened by Wix's acquisition of Base44 Inc. in June 2025, integrating the no-code AI builder platform's capability to build fully functional, production-ready web applications into Wix's platform.

In addition, Wix launched its own proprietary model, Base 1, in June 2025, reducing dependence on third-party inference and providing a robust, customized experience.
