Verão Fortaleza 300: Free Waterfront Programming Starts August 13

Fortaleza's 300th birthday celebration, Verão Fortaleza 300, begins on August 13 with four free days of music, sailing, and wellness along the city's waterfront. The event, organized by the Prefeitura de Fortaleza with support from the Government of Ceará and partners like Enel Ceará, showcases the city's best side. Spanning Praia de Iracema, Beira-Mar, Estoril, and Ponte dos Ingleses, the festival offers a mix of local and national talent in live music, featuring genres like Axé, MPB, and joyful grooves.

Visitors can expect a lineup that includes Banda Two Folks, Gabi Nunes, Jota Pê, and Orquestra Cabulosa, among others. In addition to music, the event offers yoga and sound healing sessions on Saturday and Sunday mornings, allowing festival-goers to start their day with relaxation and mindfulness. The four-day program runs from 4:00 PM to 11:15 PM, providing ample time for attendees to immerse themselves in the festivities.
