USDA slashes Ukraine grain export forecasts amid attacks
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has lowered its forecast for Ukrainian wheat exports in the 2026/27 marketing year (July-June) to 10.8 million tons, down from a previous estimate of 14.5 million tons, and cut its corn export forecast to 14 million tons from 23 million tons, according to USDA's quarterly report released on Aug. 5.
