US Sells 2 Seized Sanctioned Tankers for Scrap After Venezuela Raid
The US government has sold two sanctioned oil tankers seized in the days after Washington's raid on Venezuela to Dubai-headquartered recycling firm Global Marketing Systems, Lloyd's List reported. The Russian-flagged vessels, now named Era and Lileo, were seized in January and will be demolished in scrap yards in India.
