Ukrainian drones again strike Wildberries warehouse in Russia, killing one, injuring several

On August 11, Ukrainian drones struck Russia's Voronezh region, resulting in one fatality and multiple injuries, according to Governor Alexander Gusev. The 49-year-old victim was outside during the attack when he sustained severe injuries, which later proved fatal in the hospital. Two other individuals were injured during the incident: one was struck outside, while the other was hurt at the "site of a large logistics center," as reported by Gusev.

In addition to the casualties, fires broke out in the same district, damaging two warehouses belonging to a major company. The RWB (Wildberries & Russ) press service announced that their logistics facilities in the Voronezh region had been evacuated following safety procedures. Ukrainian Telegram channels shared images and videos of a significant fire, indicating the extent of the damage.

The Ukrainian air defense forces successfully intercepted 15 Ukrainian drones over Voronezh and other districts in the region. Governor Yevgeny Solntsev of the Orenburg region had issued an alert the previous night regarding a potential drone attack and the closure of the airport, but there were no details provided on the aftermath.

Ukrainian monitoring channels reported that the Orsknefteorgsintez oil refinery in Orsk was engulfed in flames, with a primary oil refining unit targeted. A mechanical plant was also hit, according to the Telegram channel Supernova+.
