The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Nintendo Switch 2 Console Images Reportedly Leak

Leaked images allegedly show a Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Nintendo Switch 2 console and Pro Controller. The images, posted by Brazilian gaming site Universo Nintendo's Necro Felipe, depict the console with a golden Triforce design on one side and a black/teal Joy-Con controller adorned with Triforce patterns. The Pro Controller bears a matching design, featuring gold shoulder buttons, triggers, and a central Triforce print.

The unannounced hardware also features an unrevealed Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary logo with a small NES-era Link icon. Nintendo has not yet acknowledged the alleged leak, but the company is expected to release the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Switch 2 remake before the end of 2026. Fans are anticipating a significant Zelda 40th anniversary celebration, including more information about the Ocarina remake, an official reveal of the new hardware, and a trailer for the franchise's live-action movie scheduled to premiere on April 30, 2027.
