“대가리 피도 안 마른 놈이 빨갱이 책 찾는다고…”

A man who claims to seek books on the works of Kim Ki-ryum (김기림) walked through the city, carrying a bag filled with his cherished books. This man, a former elementary school student who had enlisted as a soldier in the Korean War and never returned home, had found solace in the simple life of a book peddler. His journey began in elementary school when he first read Kim Ki-ryum's poem "Epsletter," and later found solace in his own writing.

In his later years, he became a successful businessman in the industrial sector, but still cherished his love for literature. On a fateful day in 1988, during the lead-up to the Seoul Olympics, this man found himself in a restaurant, reading poetry and purchasing books, unaware that his life was about to change forever.
