Kim claimed that he had never made any changes or instructed any changes to the building, stating that he was not involved in any illegal activities. However, the fact that he had been renting out the unauthorized room for a decade makes it difficult to believe that he was unaware of the illegality of his actions. Even if he didn't make the unauthorized changes himself, he was still profiting from a situation that violated the law.

This incident severely damages the trust that the public has in the government's real estate policies, especially following the recent proposal by a vice-minister of the ruling party to provide temporary housing for young people by converting a decommissioned bus into a "bus house." The government's actions have raised serious questions about whether they truly take the plight of young people who are struggling to find affordable housing seriously. The government needs to address this issue urgently.
