Seven-year-old boy feared drowned after falling into river in Subang Jaya

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 11 - Selangor Fire and Rescue Department is searching for a seven-year-old Indonesian boy who fell into a river near a supermarket in Subang Jaya and is feared drowned. The emergency call was received at 8.06 pm last night. A team from Subang Jaya Fire and Rescue Station arrived at the scene 10 minutes later. The victim was believed to have fallen into the river around 6.30 pm while playing with his friends.

The strong river current is making the search and rescue operation challenging. The Water Rescue Team from Shah Alam Fire and Rescue Station has been called to assist.
