Renowned herbalist burnt to death in Kasoa house fire

A distinguished herbalist, Reverend Dr. Felix Antwi Dankwa, perished in a house fire at his dwelling in Kasoa New Town, located in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region. Dr. Antwi Dankwa, the Chief Executive Officer of Antwi Herbal and Spiritual Centre, was reportedly asleep alongside his wife when the incident transpired at approximately 1 a.m. on a Tuesday.

According to reports, Dr. Antwi Dankwa and his wife had been grappling with marital issues, with divorce proceedings already underway. Sources suggest that a heated argument occurred outside the Kasoa DOVVSU office, where they allegedly exchanged physical blows. The matter was subsequently brought before the DOVVSU Commander, who attempted to mediate the dispute but was unsuccessful.

The couple was subsequently summoned back to the police station at 9 a.m. for further proceedings, including the filing of charges. However, tragedy struck before the scheduled appointment, as Dr. Felix Antwi Dankwa was discovered burnt to death in his residence. His wife and other occupants were fortunate to have been unharmed.

The Kasoa Divisional Police Command has since reached out to the deceased's wife to assist with the investigation into the incident. Police are currently probing the cause of the fire and investigating the possibility of foul play.
