Raw beef recall in US: Which products are affected, where was it sold and what should consumers do?

In the United States, nearly 29,628 pounds of raw beef products have been recalled after being imported from Argentina without the necessary import reinspection. The US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced the recall, which was carried out by Corte Argentino USA LLC in Aventura, Florida. The affected beef was produced between May 15 and May 20, 2026, and has use-or-freeze-by dates from September 15 to September 20, 2026.

The recall involves various-weight cardboard boxes of boneless beef from Frigorífico Gorina SAIC, an Argentine producer. The recalled products include Top Sirloin Butt labeled "Cuadril Sin Tapa", Eye Round labeled "Peceto", Topside Cap Off labeled "Nalga AD S/Tapa", Flat labeled "Carnaza Cuadrada", and Knuckle labeled "Bola de Lomo". Consumers and retailers can identify the recalled items by the Argentinian establishment number "EST. N° OF. 2025" and shipping mark "26644-AA".

Distributed to retailers and distributors in Florida and Texas, the recalled beef may still be present in consumers' refrigerators or freezers. The FSIS urges consumers not to eat the affected products, instead recommending that they do not consume them, throw them away or return them to the place of purchase, and check their refrigerators and freezers for the affected items.
