Rams WR Puka Nacua Leaves Practice With Undisclosed Injury

Puka Nacua, the Los Angeles Rams wide receiver, exited Tuesday's joint practice with the Dallas Cowboys, accompanied by training camp personnel, according to ESPN insider Lindsey Thiry. When queried by reporters, Rams head coach Sean McVay divulged he had no updates on the extent of Nacua's injury. Nacua had been the league's top receiver through Matthew Stafford's MVP season in 2025, amassing 129 receptions for 1,715 yards and 10 touchdowns in 16 regular-season matches.

The fifth-round draft pick plays a crucial role in McVay's pass-centric offense. Nacua's absence from practice occurred only hours after ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter announced the star could be sidelined for the start of the 2026 season due to potential league suspension. Besides Nacua's early exit, star pass rusher Myles Garrett also refrained from Tuesday's practice due to swelling in his knee.

However, McVay stated the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year is at 85% as he readies himself for his first season with the Rams in 2026. The Rams are set to commence their preseason campaign with a game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday.
