PRN Melaka: PAS langgar perlembagaan PN jika ketepi Bersatu dalam rundingan

Ketua Penerangan PAS, Tun Faisal Ismail Aziz, has warned that PAS will be considered to be acting unilaterally and breaching the Perlembagaan Perikatan Nasional (PN) if negotiations for the PRN Melaka seat do not involve Bersatu. Tun Faisal stated that Bersatu, which is currently a member of PN, has the right to be a constituent party as provided for in Section 7 of the PN Constitution.

If negotiations in Melaka do not involve Bersatu, PAS will once again deny Bersatu its rightful place as a constituent party as per Section 7 of the PN Constitution. He also mentioned that PAS acted ahead of the Registrar of Associations (JPPM) before the meeting of the PN Executive Committee (ME) and the PN Summit of the Highest Council (MT) using a weak and non-constitutional excuse.
