Poland says preparations for Women's under-20 World Cup remain on schedule

Poland confirmed on Tuesday that preparations for the upcoming Under-20 Women's World Cup are on track, as the tournament aims to be the first FIFA event held amidst criticism towards its leadership. This is the first FIFA competition following UEFA's 55 member associations' unanimous decision to boycott FIFA events following Infantino's proposal to sell off 20 percent of World Cup commercial rights to private investors.

Polish Football Association (PZPN) has received no reports of any participating team withdrawal. UEFA had threatened to boycott FIFA events due to Infantino's proposal but has not received any confirmation of withdrawal from any teams. New Zealand and France both confirmed their participation in the tournament, which will take place from September 5 to 27 at various locations across Poland.
