PMDC Announces Deadline for Doctors to Renew Inactive Licenses

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has set a deadline for inactive doctors to renew their licenses. All registered medical and dental practitioners with inactive registrations or licenses have been instructed to validate and renew their credentials within six months of the council's latest notice. This directive is issued under the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council Act, 2022.

Doctors are advised to complete the renewal process within the given timeframe to avoid regulatory action. However, the council has warned that doctors who fail to renew their registration for a continuous period exceeding ten years will see their names permanently removed from the council's register.

The council emphasized the importance of timely renewal to maintain updated registration records and ensure compliance with its regulatory framework. All medical and dental practitioners with inactive registrations or licenses are urged to complete the renewal process within the six-month period. This requirement aims to keep the registration records current and uphold the standards set by the council.
