On ‘thanksgiving’ trip, Kishor vows 10,000 jobs for youthin Bankipur within two years

During his 'thanksgiving' visit to Bankipur following his recent electoral victory, Prashant Kishor, the founder of the Jan Suraaj Party (JSP), pledged to generate at least 10,000 jobs for the youth within two years. While addressing a crowd in Yarpur locality, he assured constituents that job opportunities would be accessible to educated children by submitting their resumes to his office. Kishor emphasized that his efforts would ensure that Bihar's youth would not need to seek employment elsewhere.

Asserting that transformation is only feasible through education and employment, the JSP leader stated that three months would suffice to deter any bribery attempts for securing a ration card. Those eligible for a ration card would receive the full 5 kg of grain, not the current 4 kg. Additionally, he urged pensioners over 60 who were not receiving ₹1,100 to apply at his office, stressing that it was their responsibility to receive the rightful amount.

Kishor noted that after the Bankipur results were announced, discussions of 'police encounters' had ceased in Bihar.

He highlighted that since his election, the discourse in Bihar had shifted from encounters to education and employment, attributing this change to the power of the voters' choice. Kishor also revisited his earlier promise, promising significant improvements in government schools within a year, offering to cover school fees if such improvements did not materialize.
