Ms. Rachel Announces First-Ever Album ‘I’m So Happy’

Rachel Ann, the celebrated children's entertainer renowned for her Songs for Littles series, is set to launch her inaugural solo album titled I’m So Happy on September 25. Distributed by Magic Star, the children's and family branch of Sony Music Entertainment's The Orchard, the album marks the debut full-length project from Rachel and her spouse, Aron Accurso. Together, they have crafted 23 fresh renditions of songs featured in the series.

Among the highlights are original tracks like "I’m So Happy" and "Big Feelings," alongside reimagined adaptations of popular children's songs such as "Hop Little Bunnies" and "Icky Sticky Bubblegum." The lead single, "I Love a Rainbow," is already available, showcasing the research-backed, intricately designed approach that has established Ms. Rachel as a household name.

Drawing from her personal experience with a child's speech delay and her background as a preschool music teacher, Rachel created the series in 2019. The videos incorporate evidence-based techniques such as repetition, "parentese," and interactive prompts aimed at promoting early language development in toddlers. The album concludes with songs like "Counting to 20!," "B-I-N-G-O," "Big Feelings," "Together," and "I Love You to the Moon."

The Accuros' creative synergy is evident in their complementary skills: Rachel holds master's degrees in both early childhood education and music education, while Aron holds a degree in music composition and has a career in Broadway composition, conducting, and music direction. Their collaborative efforts have earned the series two Children’s & Family Emmy Award nominations, including one for their writing.

Launched on Netflix in early 2025, Ms. Rachel has become the platform's most-watched season of children's programming, alongside expanding into licensed toys and live family shows. Magic Star, established in 2019, serves as the distributor and developer of audio and audiovisual content for children within The Orchard.
