Meet 26-year-old model representing Nigeria at Miss World 2026 in Vietnam

Tamunosoye Karibi-George, the 26-year-old Miss World Nigeria 2026 crowned beauty queen from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has arrived in Vietnam to represent her country at the 73rd Miss World Festival. Coming from a field of 20 finalists, Karibi-George emerged victorious at the Balmoral Hall of the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos. She was formerly representing Bayelsa State during the Miss World Nigeria competition, but is a native of Port Harcourt.

Trained as a communications professional, Karibi-George is also an advocate for children with special needs, the founder of Beyond Labels initiative. The initiative focuses on inclusion, dignity, and empowerment for children with special needs. She was also a Top 20 finalist at the Miss Universe Nigeria competition.

Now in Vietnam, Karibi-George is taking part in the ongoing Miss World activities as contestants compete in various stages of the festival. The competition emphasizes intelligence, confidence, communication skills, purpose, and commitment to social causes. For Karibi-George, the journey is not only about winning a crown but also about promoting her advocacy and showcasing Nigeria's culture and identity.
