'Loving' mother, 911 call, postpartum psychosis: Key moments from Lindsay Clancy's murder trial so far

The murder trial for Lindsay Clancy, a mother from Duxbury, Massachusetts, commenced at the Plymouth Superior Court on July 27, with an 18-person jury hearing evidence against her. Her three children, Cora (5), Dawson (3), and 8-month-old Callan, allegedly died in January 2023 due to postpartum psychosis, as claimed by the defense. The trial is currently in its third week, with testimony from Lindsay's ex-husband, Patrick Clancy, and psychiatrist Dr. Jennifer Tufts.

On January 24, 2023, Lindsay asked her husband Patrick to get takeout food and purchase items from a pharmacy while she was alone with their children. After he left, authorities claim she strangled the three kids with exercise bands. Subsequently, she allegedly harmed herself by cutting her wrists and neck and jumped from a second-story window, which resulted in paralysis below her sternum.

Lindsay's lawyers argue that she was not responsible for her actions due to her mental state. Patrick Clancy, in an interview, said he forgives his wife.
