Lloyd’s Register strengthens offshore energy capabilities with senior APAC appointment

Lloyd's Register (LR) has bolstered its offshore energy capabilities by appointing Wouter Pattynama as Executive Client Solutions Manager, Offshore. The move expands LR's support for clients across Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia-Pacific region. Based in Perth, Western Australia, Pattynama brings nearly three decades of experience in maritime, offshore energy, and oil and gas sectors.

Pattynama recently left Australia's offshore regulator, the National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA), where he held senior executive roles overseeing safety, environmental management, and regulatory assurance. Throughout his career, he has developed expertise in the vessel lifecycle, from initial design to decommissioning.

As a trusted partner, Pattynama will deliver assurance, compliance, risk management, and technical advisory services to help clients enhance safety, reliability, and operational performance.
