Jeremiah Hasley named to The Athletic's 2026 Freaks List

Jeremiah Hasley, a tight end for the Duke football team, has been recognized as a "Freak" by The Athletic for the upcoming 2026 season. Hasley was named first-team All-ACC and received All-American honors after a stellar junior season in 2024, where he recorded 40 receptions for 454 yards and six touchdowns. His performance was crucial for the team, filling in as a reliable target for Darian Mensah and future quarterback Walker Eget or Dan Mahan.

Bruce Feldman of The Athletic added Hasley to his "Freaks List," citing his significant improvements in various athletic metrics. Hasley has added 18 pounds, increased his vertical jump by almost eight inches, improved his L-drill and shuttle times, and enhanced his bench press to 425 pounds. His resolve and determination were on display after recovering from a season-ending knee injury in 2024.

Strength coach David Feeley lauded Hasley's resilience, stating that he has battled back better than ever.
