Shekhar Ravjiani, the renowned music composer and singer, recently unveiled his luxurious farmhouse nestled in the picturesque Khandala hills of Maharashtra. In a recent vlog, Farah Khan, Shekhar's collaborator, showcased the sprawling property and its fusion of heritage and natural beauty.

The farmhouse's design draws inspiration from the iconic Parsi hotels of Panchgani, a place Shekhar frequented during his formative years. A striking feature of the interior is the black-and-white Parsi-style flooring, complemented by a collection of vintage furniture sourced by Shekhar and Farah during their shopping trips to Mumbai’s Chor Bazaar.

Nature plays a pivotal role in the farmhouse's ambiance, with lotus ponds, vibrant bougainvillaea, and lush gardens adorning the property. The views of the valley are particularly enchanting during the monsoon season, when clouds hover over the home, evoking a sense of tranquility.

The interiors are a testament to the old-world charm, featuring spacious living rooms with soaring ceilings, a beige L-shaped sofa, vintage armchairs, and a wooden centre table. The bedrooms maintain the vintage aesthetic, complete with four-poster beds and large windows that frame the scenic valley views.

Notably, the farmhouse includes a dedicated temple on the first floor and a kitchen that echoes the traditional Gujarati bungalow style. The use of old-style tiles in the kitchen, coupled with decor items that carry personal and cultural significance, adds to the overall homely and authentic atmosphere.
