KUALA LANGAT, August 11 — The police are currently investigating the suspected murder of a man at an oil palm plantation in Sungai Kelambu, Banting, Kuala Lumpur, on Sunday.
Kuala Langat District Police chief Supt Mohd Akmalrizal Radzi revealed in a statement that eight individuals have been arrested in connection with the investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code. "On August 9 at around 5 pm, a policeman on duty found a 49-year-old local man unconscious at the oil palm plantation," the statement reads.
The police have urged the public to come forward with any information pertaining to the case. They can do so by visiting the nearest police station or by contacting the Kuala Langat District Police Headquarters Operations Room at 03-3187 2222.
All the suspects, including foreigners aged between 20 and 60 years, have been remanded for a period of seven days to aid the investigation. This decision was made following a remand order issued by Magistrate Maslinda Selamat.
