IGP Promotes 25 Police Personnel for Outstanding Performance

The Inspector-General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has recognized the exceptional performance of 25 police officers through promotions. These personnel, hailing from the Bono East, Tema, and Western Central Police Regions, played crucial roles in various successful operations aimed at combating crime. Among the highlights were the arrest of six suspects involved in a high-value robbery and the interception of a substantial amount of suspected cocaine at the Tema Harbour.

The IGP emphasized the importance of acknowledging outstanding officers, highlighting the commitment and professionalism demonstrated by these personnel in tackling violent crime and other security threats. Promotions followed recommendations from respective commanders, acknowledging the officers' bravery and dedication to maintaining law and order.

The recognitions were also intended to motivate other officers to give their best in the interest of the Ghanaian people. Chief Inspectors Bede Nwinbomeh and Joe Tetteh were additionally granted entry into the Police Academy. The Police Administration remains committed to rewarding hard work and exceptional service, vowing to continue identifying, recognizing, and rewarding officers who significantly contribute to the safety and security of the nation.
