Guests of King Salman’s Umrah program praise warm hospitality, services

Pilgrims attending the second cohort of King Salman’s Umrah and Visit Program have commended the warm welcome and services they have encountered since their arrival in Saudi Arabia. Reflecting on their experiences in Makkah and during the Umrah, many pilgrims described the visit as an indelible memory. The second group comprises 250 participants from 23 countries spanning Europe and Asia, all benefiting from the King Salman Umrah and Visit Program organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance.

Salima Powell, a UK pilgrim, highlighted the transformative nature of performing Umrah and praying at the Grand Mosque, emphasizing the values of equality and brotherhood that the event embodies. Clayton Mali, from Albania, expressed a blend of sorrow at leaving the Prophet's City and a longing to see the Kaaba for the first time, noting the overwhelming emotion when he first beheld the Kaaba amidst the throngs.

Ibrahim Oglo from North Macedonia spoke of his joy and spiritual peace as he completed his rituals, his eyes filled with tears of gratitude.

Altay Kerimov, a Bulgarian pilgrim, praised the meticulously organized services provided throughout their stay, from arrival to the completion of Umrah, allowing pilgrims to concentrate on their spiritual journey. The guests of the program conveyed their heartfelt thanks to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, alongside the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance and General Supervisor of the King Salman Program, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, for the exceptional hospitality and care they have experienced.
