Grok Bot Brings Always-On AI Agents to macOS and iOS

Elon Musk's SpaceXAI has introduced Grok Bot, a new team of constantly operational AI agents designed to perform tasks using tools, websites, and apps on macOS and iOS devices. This innovative feature is part of SpaceXAI's acquisition of Cursor, an AI coding company valued at $60 billion. Subscribers to Grok Bot can communicate with the bot using natural language through their phone or desktop applications.

Unlike other tools that necessitate building workflows and routines, Grok Bot handles tasks with a simple chat interface.

One of the standout features of Grok Bot is its ability to sign into websites, even those without API access, although SpaceXAI has not provided specifics on how this authentication process works. Multiple bots can operate simultaneously, with one bot potentially managing and coordinating the work of others. They can also form group chats, allowing them to coordinate tasks, assign ownership, and direct user input only to judgment calls.

Grok Bot allows users to define workflows. The AI observes a task being completed, saves the steps as a routine, and can then execute it independently in the future by following the same procedure. The technology is continuously learning, with the capacity to begin working before a user even initiates a request. Demonstrations of Grok Bot's capabilities can be found on SpaceXAI's website, including examples like a sales bot that updates the CRM with call transcript notes, an operations bot that onboards new hires and processes invoices in Gmail, and an engineering bot that reproduces a product bug, files a ticket, and assigns the fix to another debugging bot.

Grok Bot is currently in beta testing and accessible to SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Premium subscribers on macOS and iOS platforms. Enterprise users can join a waitlist to gain future access to this cutting-edge AI technology.
