Free agent Terrion Arnold, who faces felony charges, is set to visit the Giants, AP source says

Free agent cornerback Terrion Arnold is set to meet with the New York Giants on Wednesday, according to an anonymous source speaking to The Associated Press. The 23-year-old is facing eight felony charges for allegedly orchestrating the abduction and beating of three men in 2022. Arnold, who was drafted by the Detroit Lions as the 24th pick in the first round of the 2024 draft, became a free agent in late June after the team released him following his charges.

Previously, Arnold had visited New Orleans and Seattle this week, and it was reported that he also met with Houston. The Giants, who are currently dealing with injuries in their secondary, are expected to have Arnold visit their facility. Authorities in Florida claim that Arnold arranged for the men to be assaulted after he falsely believed they had stolen $100,000 in cash and luxury goods from him.

In February, Arnold was labeled the "primary conspirator" in the attack, and a judge set his bail at $1 million. Arnold's attorney, Harvey Steinberg, has argued that prosecutors have not presented sufficient evidence to prove that Arnold was aware of or directed the actions of his associates during the incident.
