São Paulo – Emirates has announced modifications to its ticket refund and rebooking policies as of November 11. The airline has waived change fees for passengers rebooking trips to Dubai, applicable to bookings made under specific fare classes: Economy Class Saver to Flex, and Business Class Special, Saver, and Flex. Economy Class Flex Plus fares remain fully flexible, along with Premium Economy, Business, and First Class fares, though any fare difference between the original and new tickets will still apply.
Additionally, Emirates has reduced refund fees for flights to Dubai. Economy Class Saver fares now incur a USD 50 refund fee, while Flex fares are USD 25. Emirates Skywards members will benefit from special promotions through August 31, which include a 20% reduction in Tier Miles required to achieve Silver, Gold, and Platinum status; a 20% Tier Miles bonus on Emirates and flydubai flights; and enhanced savings with the Cash+Miles option at a rate of 2,000 miles = USD 30 (previously USD 15) for redemptions on Emirates or flydubai flights, excess baggage, lounge access, and seat selection.
