Cristiano Ronaldo marries long-term partner Georgina Rodriguez

Cristiano Ronaldo and his long-term partner Georgina Rodriguez exchanged vows on Tuesday, according to the football star's representatives. The 41-year-old Portuguese player posted a photo of their hands clasped together adorned with wedding rings, captioning it "C (heart) G", on his Instagram account. The civil ceremony took place in the coastal town of Cascais, near Lisbon, as confirmed by the Brunswick Group handling Ronaldo's public relations to AFP.

Their five children were present at the private and intimate event. The couple had marked exactly a year since Rodriguez, a 32-year-old social media influencer, announced their engagement on Instagram. Ronaldo, who represented Portugal at this summer's World Cup, currently plays for Saudi club Al-Nassr. The former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus striker has been awarded the Ballon d'Or as the world's best player a record five times.
