BLUE unveils AI-first video analytics infrastructure, targets 10X revenue growth by FY30

Bengaluru-based AI startup BLUE has introduced its AI-native video analytics infrastructure platform, utilizing the world's first semantic codec for videos. This semantic codec is an AI-driven compression technology that encodes video data meaning in its structure. The platform targets large-scale camera deployments and transforms traditional CCTV systems into searchable, AI-ready data layers.

This transformation reduces bandwidth consumption by up to 90%, lowers video storage costs by up to 10x, and decreases compute requirements for semantic video retrieval by 5-10x, leading to up to 30-40% lower operational expenses. BLUE anticipates a 10x revenue growth by FY30 as enterprises increasingly seek to operationalize video data using AI.

In the first six months, the company has achieved production deployments with leading conglomerates in India and the US, piloting solutions in Africa and Sri Lanka. Notable Indian adopters include Britannia, Haldiram's, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Connaught Plaza Restaurants Limited (CPRL), and Mumbai Aviation Fuel Farm Facility Private Limited (MAFFFL).

This launch addresses growing statutory compliance mandates and the increasing storage, bandwidth, GPU compute, and energy efficiency requirements driven by enterprise video recording. BLUE's solution creates an interoperable AI-native video data lake that integrates seamlessly with enterprise security and operational workflows.
