BigBang Singapore concert ticket sales see queue numbers exceed 300,000 on first day

On the launch day for BigBang's upcoming XX: Cosmos concert in Singapore, queues for tickets stretched beyond 300,000 people. The tickets became available for sale at 12pm on Tuesday, August 11. A fan shared a photo of her queue number, indicating the massive demand for tickets to the show. Various fan groups and social media platforms reported some fans having queue numbers exceeding 500,000.

However, it is possible that fans who did not meet the requirements, such as not being VIP members or completing the required survey, joined the queue, which may have skewed these numbers. One fan with a queue number of 8,000 mentioned difficulties when trying to complete her checkout, ultimately being removed from the queue. Ticketmaster announced at approximately 12.14pm that no more VIP Ultimate packages were available for the presale, with additional tickets to be released during the general sale.

Presale tickets officially sold out around 3.30pm. Additional tickets will be released this week. The presale for Trip.com members will be held at 10am on August 12, followed by general sales at 10am on August 13 via Ticketmaster. Tickets for BigBang's XX: Cosmos concert in Singapore range in price from S$158 to S$498. The K-pop group, featuring G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung, will perform at the National Stadium on October 17.

This concert marks BigBang's first appearance in Singapore in over a decade, as their last show in the country was in 2016 for their Made VIP fan meeting tour. Prior to the Singapore concert, BigBang is scheduled to release their new single, "Biiig," on Wednesday, August 19. BigBang's XX: Cosmos world tour begins with a three-night concert at South Korea's Goyang Stadium from August 21 to 23, followed by performances in the US and Europe.
