Believe the hype for Wardogs, possibly the next great multiplayer FPS

Wardogs, the upcoming multiplayer FPS from the creators of Battalion 1944, is currently in early access and has been generating a lot of buzz. The game features 100-player servers and is PvP-only, with players competing in three teams over a large map. One of the main modes involves battling for control of a central area known as the hot zone.

Players are rewarded for making their body count as two by occupying this high-risk, high-reward zone. The game attempts to strike a balance between hardcore Arma-style gameplay and a more accessible experience similar to Battlefield.

While Wardogs may not be a huge leap for Battlefield veterans, it offers a more tactical, logistical experience akin to milsim FPS games like Arma. Players can earn account-level cash by accomplishing various tasks such as getting kills, staying in the capture zone, healing teammates, and transporting supplies. This cash can be spent on gear, equipment, and bribes, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and cooperation.

The game's economy is designed to incentivize productive gameplay and reward players for their contributions to the team. As players unlock more expensive gear and weapons, they are more likely to take risks and engage in fights, while also providing opportunities for player-driven teamwork and strategy.
