5 terrorists neutralised in Balochistan's Panjgur: ISPR

Five terrorists linked to the banned Fitna al-Hindustan group were eliminated by Pakistani security forces in a swift, intelligence-led operation in Balochistan's Panjgur district, the military's media outlet reported on Tuesday. The federal government has categorized all terrorist organizations operating in Balochistan as Fitna al-Hindustan, alleging Indian involvement in sponsoring these groups through a proxy war.

Apart from neutralizing the five hostile individuals, the operation teams also dismantled a substantial cache of weapons, ammunition, and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) at the scene, followed by thorough decontamination efforts to eliminate any residual threats.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) emphasized that the mission was part of a continuous counter-terrorism campaign, under the "Azm e Istehkam" strategy approved by the Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan, aimed at eliminating foreign-backed terrorism from the country. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended the security forces for their successful operation, pledging their unwavering commitment to eradicate all forms of terrorism from Pakistan.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also paid tribute to the security forces, lauding their professionalism and bravery in thwarting the terrorists' plans.
