Pavithran, a 21-year-old player, scored the winning goal against the Philippines at the KLFA Stadium on Saturday. His header of Wan Kuzain Wan Kamal's cross propelled Malaysia into the semi-finals. In a separate post celebrating her brother's contribution, she expressed that the racism exhibited by some individuals online was more disappointing than the events on the pitch.

She firmly stated that a player's race does not define their love, commitment, or sacrifices for Malaysia. The color of one's skin holds less significance than the badge on their chest, she stressed.
