Twifo Hemang SHTS appeals for administrative vehicle

Agnes Amoah, the Headmistress of Twifo Hemang Senior High Technical School (SHTS), has called upon the Government and other stakeholders to provide the institution with an administrative vehicle. In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Amoah highlighted the challenges posed by the lack of an official vehicle for the school.

She explained that the absence of a dedicated vehicle made it necessary for the management to hire transport for examination materials, which incurred additional costs. This issue also hindered the school's ability to fully participate in official events that required transportation. Amoah emphasized that any activity involving a vehicle puts the school in a difficult position and requires immediate attention.

Apart from the lack of an administrative vehicle, the school is also grappling with shortages of furniture and beds, which are impacting both the academic and residential facilities. Despite these challenges, Amoah expressed gratitude to the Government for awarding a contract to construct a boys' dormitory, aiming to enhance the school's accommodation infrastructure.

Twifo Hemang Senior High Technical School was originally established by the Twifo Hemang Traditional Council on January 11, 2005, with an initial enrollment of just eight students. The school was later absorbed by the Government.
