The key to invention lies in identifying practical solutions to everyday problems, such as sorting, cooling, measuring, packaging, predicting, repairing, or delivering. These solutions can range from product features to process improvements that save time, reduce waste, or enhance reliability. The first step to turning an idea into a business is often the most challenging, as people struggle to move from "that could work" to "let's build it."

Gaps, ambiguities, and vague language like "faster," "smarter," and "better" need to be addressed by defining the actual problem, its cost, existing alternatives, differentiators, and potential for testing and protection. AI can make this initial step less daunting by helping to clarify the problem statement, asking crucial questions, comparing options, organizing research, and preparing a basic version of the invention.

This support can benefit individuals rebuilding after job loss, graduates without a clear career path, and small businesses lacking research departments. The goal is not to rely on a machine for judgment but to empower more people to take their ideas seriously and protect their hard work.
