The city of Seoul plans to provide the heatwave work interruption allowance to about 1,000 construction sites and workplaces with about 100,000 workers. The city of Seoul said that it will announce detailed implementation plans, including the application period and payment method, once the ordinance is revised. The city of Seoul has been providing the heatwave work interruption allowance since 2021. Last year, about 580 construction sites and workplaces with about 50,000 workers received support.
