Steelers sign 26-year-old wide receiver

The Pittsburgh Steelers have bolstered their roster by signing 26-year-old wide receiver Isaiah Winstead. The news was confirmed by PFN's James Larsen, who reported that Winstead successfully completed a tryout with the team. Winstead's career has been marked by impressive performances, including a standout season with the Louisville Kings in the United Football League (UFL) where he recorded over 550 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns.

Prior to this, Winstead had been linked with several NFL teams, including the San Francisco 49ers and New York Jets, but chose to sign with the Steelers. He gained attention after a highlight video he posted following the NFL Draft caught the eye of one of the franchises. At the age of 26, Winstead is poised to make an impact in his first season with the Steelers, particularly as they prepare for the preseason opener against the Green Bay Packers.
