Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh witnessed a grand procession of Lord Chandramoleshwar during the second Shravan Somvar on Monday. The Mahakaleshwar Temple was adorned in preparation for the event, with priests performing special prayers and a band playing before the procession commenced at 4 pm. Artists from Jhabua and Petlawad regions added to the festivities with traditional Bhagoria-style dance performances, while women joined in a group dance display.

The temple doors were opened at 2.30 am for the Bhasma Aarti, followed by a camphor aarti and the ritualistic bathing and worship of Lord Nandi. The idol of Lord Mahakal was adorned with a silver crescent moon, trident, crown, and various ornaments, followed by a special adornment with bhang, sandalwood, and dry fruits.
