Seventeen's Seungkwan and Dino to enlist together in military band, Mingyu begins alternative service in September

Three additional members of the popular K-pop group Seventeen will commence their obligatory military service soon. Seungkwan and Dino, two of the members, are scheduled to serve together in the Army military band starting on October 26th. This joint enlistment marks a unique occurrence in the group, as it combines their military commitment into a single-day event. On the other hand, Mingyu will begin his alternative service on September 10th.

Pledis Entertainment, the management agency of Seventeen, announced this information through their official fan platform, Weverse. Despite the start of their military service, the group's management assures that all three members will continue to participate in their regular activities until the day they begin their service. No special events have been planned for the days they report for duty.

It's important to note that South Korean law mandates most able-bodied men to serve in the military, which can sometimes lead to significant changes in the activities of popular K-pop groups with multiple male members. The group's members are expected to fulfill their military service obligations without disrupting their official engagements.
